[Reporter Su Mengjuan/Taichung Report]Taichung noodle stall vendor Wang Wenzhi spent more than 15 years building the Fool’s Hope Project and established the “Sheshe Transfer Station” to exchange recycled resources “garbage” for cash. With the gathering of love from all walks of life, he was able to save money after 15 years of gathering sand into a tower. He received more than 10 million yuan, but he used it all to donate ambulances! Today he donated the fourth ambulance worth 4.56 million yuan. He originally announced that the donation of the fourth ambulance would come to an end. Because this year he was diagnosed and was in critical condition and relied on an ambulance to send him to the hospital. He had already donated 3 ambulances before. Wang Wenzhi, who owns a car, took an ambulance for medical treatment for the first time and experienced firsthand the value of ambulances in saving lives. Inspired by “rebirth”, he announced today that he will launch the next car donation plan, “Welcome old friends and new friends to join in this grand event.”

Wang Wenzhi had a thrilling experience more than 10 years ago when his relatives suffered from serious illnesses one after another and called an ambulance for medical treatment. He vowed to donate ambulances to help people. However, he was only a breakfast and noodle stall vendor. With limited ability, he thought of using people’s unwanted things to raise money. He set up the “Sheshe Transfer Station”, printed his wishes on the door of the store or on his personal business card, collected unused second-hand clothes and other recycled materials and sold them, and saved all the proceeds to donate to ambulances. It took him 2 years to save more than 100 yuan for the first car. Ten thousand yuan, donated a basic ambulance, inspiring him to start the second and third vehicle donation plans one after another.

When the public saw that he was “playing it real”, more and more people came to help him sell second-hand items and recyclable resources. Feeling that the basic ambulances were not equipped enough, he wanted to keep up with the times and upgrade to donate top-notch ambulances. Cars, car prices have been rising, and the time to save the hope fund has become longer and longer. It took 5 years to save more than 3 million yuan for the third car to donate.

Wang Wenzhi donated ambulances to Project Hope. Most of the funds came from recycled resources, which he saved bit by bit. However, the “Shehe Transfer Station” he established was not an official recycling site. It was an “amateur” station. There was no dedicated person to handle it, so he relied on him to use his spare time. He sorted through the materials sent by the public and then sold them. The materials donated by the public were of various kinds. It took him a lot of time to sort out the materials available or dismantle the salable parts. However, he often encountered people who “trespassed” and used the recycling bin as a “garbage dump.” He was troubled by the yellowing, dirty, and damaged clothes, and even “donating the spoiled lunch boxes.” He could only console himself by “happy to do it and willing to accept it.”

Unexpectedly, he worked day and night to recycle, organize, and sell recycled items. Four years ago, he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and was hospitalized for 30 days during surgery. He lost more than 10 kilograms. He was exhausted both physically and mentally, so he announced that he would donate his fourth ambulance. Finally, it will come to an end and I will no longer donate cars.

Wang Wenzhi’s fourth ambulance was originally planned to be equipped with the latest cardiopulmonary resuscitation equipment, which cost as much as 4.56 million yuan. At the beginning of this year, he calculated how much he could meet the target for donating the vehicle. He originally thought that he would be able to “stop it” soon. Unexpectedly, in May, for the first time, he The patient was diagnosed with the disease and his condition deteriorated rapidly. His family urgently called an ambulance to send him to the hospital. He was hospitalized for a week before the danger was resolved. Wang Wenzhi, who donated ambulances, personally experienced the value of ambulances in saving lives. After his “rebirth”, he was inspired to restart the Hope Project; Today, after he donated the fourth ambulance to the 7th Disaster Rescue Brigade of the Taichung City Fire Department, he also announced the launch of the next vehicle donation plan.

Over the past 10 years, he has saved more than 10 million but donated all of it. Wang Wenzhi said that it was not all done by himself, but that he had made many good connections over the years. Many people donated materials and even donations. Of course, he had to donate it, and even more He said, “If God leaves me, I will give full play to the value of my life.” He called on old friends and new friends to come together to participate in the grand event and let love continue.
