In the mixed doubles final of the World Table Tennis Professional League (WTT) Zagreb Station Challenge held on July 1, Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha won the championship by defeating teammates Lin Shidong/Quaiman 3:1.
Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha, who are ranked No. 1 in the world in mixed doubles, are significantly stronger. They won the first two games by 11:6 and 11:3 respectively. Lin Shidong/Kaiman won the third game by 11:9. But Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha sealed the victory with 11:5 in the fourth game.
In other competitions held on the 1st, the four Chinese players in the men’s singles semi-final competed. As a result, Fan Zhendong defeated Lin Shidong 3:1, and Lin Gaoyuan defeated Xiang Peng 3:0.
