LATAM Airlines has decided to resort again to the Spanish Wamos Water to operate some international flights, given the decline of its widebody fleet following the interior renovation on their planes Boeing 787.

LATAMin its most recent update to the reservation system, has revealed that some of its flights will be operated by Wamos Water due to the global deficit of aircraft and maintenance needs.
“… Due to the lack of aircraft worldwide, we have found it necessary to change the operator of your flight… which will be operated by Wamos Air on an A330 aircraft, a company temporarily contracted by LATAM Airlines Group SA to provide air service on this route.” points out LATAM in an email sent to passengers of the flights that will be operated by the Spanish airline.
Although the South American airline has not specifically detailed the reasons behind the lack of planes, this adjustment coincides with the recent announcement, made a few weeks ago, about the reconfiguring Business Class seats on its Boeing 787 fleet.
LATAM flights and routes that Wamos Air will operate
