The Salzburg police pulled several drunk drivers from the traffic on Sunday night. During a control in Wals (Flachgau), a 42-year-old Tennengau man was caught with 1.28 per mille. The Salzburg man told the police that he last drank alcohol the day before and could not explain the value.
Hüttau: Alcoholics land in Bach
In Pongau, the police stopped an unsafe driver of a flatbed truck. He was 1.64 per mille. In Hüttau a man came off the road with his car and landed in a stream. The alcohol test showed a value of 1.3 per thousand. All three drivers had to surrender their driver’s license and were reported.
