Step- Walmart has started to limit the number of customers who can enter to make purchases in its stores.

Beginning Saturday, April 4, all Walmart stores will begin to restrict the number of people allowed inside the store.

Customers will be admitted one by one at a single entrance, usually on the grocery side in their super centers, including those in El Paso.

Employees will allow five customers to enter for every thousand square feet of store space, which is approximately 20% of a store’s usual capacity.

Once that capacity has been reached, customers will be asked to line up outside the store at a distance of six feet, the statement said in a statement released by the corporation.

Many stores have already marked the sidewalks with signage. When a customer leaves the store, employees will allow one more customer to enter.

Walmart also said they will start selling only essential items.
