Wall Street opens on mixed ground on Friday – 2024-03-31 23:16:24

Wall Street opened this Friday on mixed terrain and the Dow Jones Industrialsits main indicator, rose a slight 0.01%, when the main indicators are on track to achieve weekly gains.

Ten minutes after the trading floor opened, the Dow Jones stood at 39,783 points, and the selective S&P 500 rose a slight 0.02%, up to 5,242 points.

The composite index of the Nasdaq market, where the main technology companies are listed, fell a slight 0.06%, to 16,392 units.

Yesterday was the fourth consecutive session of gains for all three indices and all three indices are expected to post weekly gains of over 2%.

Shares of Fedex, a company that published its results yesterday after the stock market closed, rose 8.48% this morning. While those of Nike, which also published their results yesterday, fell 7.56%.
