The section dedicated to travel in ‘Hoy por hoy Eibar’ is called ‘The getaway’ and, due to the mobility restrictions we are experiencing, this week has focused on the discovery of trails and routes through the mountains of Eibar and the region by Debabarrena. From the hand of Miguel Loitxate, from the travel and gastronomy blog ‘www.lonifasiko.com’, we have traveled places in Eibar such as the hermitage of San Salvador, Galdaramiño or Santa Cruz. He has also made reference to brochure edited by Debabarrena Turismo in which it proposes 22 hiking routes in the towns of Bajo Deba.
Every two weeks, Loitxate offers us ideas for trips for a day, a weekend or a long weekend to enjoy traveling and discovering new enclaves with charm, whether natural, historical or heritage. Due to the health situation we are going through, the routes will have to be more restricted, but it has been very clear to us that we have much to discover or rediscover in our closest environment.
