A study published in the Lancet Public Health journal reveals the benefits of regular walking.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Walking provides many health benefits. New study adds to the growing body of evidence linking walking with life expectancy the longer one. The main key of this research is that walking regularly can increase life expectancy by up to 15 years.
“Walking provides so many health benefits,” said the famous GP on television ITV England, Dr Ellie, as reported by the page ExpressTuesday (29/3/2022).

Optimal way of walking
Runs great regardless of how you do it, but there are several optimal approaches. Carrying something while walking is very beneficial because it adds to the burden on the body.
Walking uphill and walking faster (accelerating steps in a few minutes) may also increase the benefits. In research published in Communication Biologyhe found that people who applied brisk paced could have a biological age of 15 years younger than those who took the time for daily walks.
