Walk of Dreams from Aarau to Bern – collect money per kilometer run and fulfill the wishes of disadvantaged people

The so-called “Walk of Dreams” is actually the same as the sponsored run of the local football club. The principle is to collect money for each kilometer run. However, this money does not go into the club’s coffers, but is intended to make the dreams of disadvantaged people come true.

Dream March premiere from Aarau to Bern

According to a statement from the organization, the “Walk of Dreams” will be held for the first time between September 25 and 29, 2024. It will go from Aarau to Bern in five stages, the individual stages being Aarburg, Langenthal, Solothurn and Jegenstorf.

The first dream will come true at the premiere of the Dream March. A 5-year-old girl who suffers from leukemia wishes to go on a balloon ride and see a unicorn behind a rainbow. The organization “A Million Dreams” has therefore come up with something special and organized a ride in a balloon in the shape of a unicorn’s head.

The hot air balloon “Allycorn” is 30 meters high and will accompany the entire “Walk of Dreams”.

The 30-meter-high hot-air balloon named “Allycorn” will not only fulfill the sick girl’s wish, but will also accompany the entire dream march from Aarau to Bern. At the stopover locations, residents will also be offered free stationary tethered balloon rides with “Allycorn,” according to the statement from “A Million Dreams.”

FCA CEO Burki also on board
