Walk in the center with Le Coccinelle and the gift to newborns in intensive care

A walk through the streets of the historic center of Siena to celebrate World Premature Day. This is the initiative organized by Mens Sana Runners, in collaboration with the association Coccinelle Amici del Neonato and with the contribution of Uisp Siena, scheduled for tomorrow. The event includes a 5 kilometer route in the city centre, meeting at 3.30pm in Piazza Matteotti and leaving at 4pm. To participate, registration is required at a cost of 10 euros, which will then be donated to the Le Coccinelle association. Registration will take place tomorrow before the walk.

On the occasion of World Prematurity Day, the Sienese university hospital, among other initiatives, is promoting the ‘Born to Read’ meeting today from 4.30 pm at the Intronati Library, with animated readings by Rosanna Merlini and games. Tomorrow the newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will be given a small gadget offered by the Cuore di Maglia association, which takes care of providing the neonatal intensive care unit with soft wool products and in the evening will light up the façade of lot 4 of the Department in purple of women and children.
