The American startup Shift Robotics has launched a fundraising campaign for Kickstarter.
The developers have introduced Moonwalkers electric rollers to the platform. They are attached to any shoe and allow you to increase walking speed by 250% – up to 11 km / h.
Lunokhods are a platform with eight polyurethane wheels. Engine power is automatically adjusted to the wearer’s pace. That is, they can speed up or slow down depending on how you walk. The motors themselves have a power of 300 watts.
A locking system is also provided to avoid accidentally descending from a mountain or a ladder. On sloping surfaces, the maximum speed is also fixed at 11 km / h.
On a single charge, you can drive up to 10km. Moonwalkers costs up to $ 1000 ($ 1400 after the crowdfunding campaign ends).
