AMSTERDAM – The 29-year-old man from Amstelveen who stabbed five people out of nowhere on Friday in the Amsterdam neighborhood of De Pijp, is possibly a relation or acquaintance of the owner of a night shop on the Scheldestraat in the capital that he visited that evening. Eyewitness Waldo Bezerra de Oliveira followed the culprit until the police arrived. “If I had intervened, the last boy might not have been stabbed. But then I might have been dead myself. ”
