Waldfriede Hospital successfully held its annual open day on September 15, 2024, attracting almost 2,000 visitors. The event, which celebrated its 20th anniversary, offered a rich and varied program, allowing the public to discover behind the scenes of this hospital establishment.
A rich and diverse program
Throughout the day, visitors were able to benefit from a multitude of activities and information. Conferences led by medical specialists covered a wide range of health topics. Guided tours retraced the history of the hospital and discovered its different units, including operating theaters equipped with cutting-edge technologies such as robotic surgery and endoscopy.
Visitors also had the opportunity to interact with department heads from all specialties and learn about various themes such as hygiene, support for people dependent on alcohol, volunteering or even offers from the local community.
Information stands, children’s activities and food outlets also punctuated this festive day.
An event dedicated to meeting and sharing
Bernd Quoß, Managing Director of Waldfriede Hospital, was delighted with the success of the day and the positive atmosphere that reigned there. He underlined the importance of these privileged moments of exchange and sharing with the population.
He also recalled the solid reputation of the Waldfriede hospital, both in Berlin-Zehlendorf and beyond, testifying to the quality of care and the commitment of its teams.
