What can you expect today?
- The last municipalities are yet to publish the (provisional) results of the elections. You can follow them on NOS.nl and the app via this link.
- A verdict is expected at 12.30 pm in the appeal of triple murder suspect Thijs H. The court sentenced him in 2020 to 18 years in prison and TBS with compulsory treatment. The Public Prosecution Service demands 30 years and tbs.
- The leaders of the German federal states meet for a consultation about the corona situation in the country. Chancellor Scholz is also there. He previously announced that most corona measures would be dropped as of March 20.
- Four Dutch clubs play in the Conference League. AZ and Vitesse have to make up for a deficit. PSV plays at FC Copenhagen, Feyenoord at home against Partizan from Belgrade.

What did you miss?
Local parties are again in the municipal elections as the winner from the bus came. Compared to four years ago, when they were already dominant, their position in the country has been strengthened even further. With virtually all votes counted, their share is 36 percent of the vote.
