Black Adam of the DCEU (DC Extended Universe) debuted in theaters last October. Not long after, the second film Black Panther namely Wakanda Forever is the latest MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) dish. These two comedy adaptation films have apparently received different reactions from audiences and critics. This can be seen from the score obtained on Rotten Tomatoes.
Black Adam features a number of new characters that are likely to shine in the DCEU going forward. Including the appearance of one of the important characters at the end. However, the array of surprises presented in the Black Adam film apparently cannot satisfy everyone. On Rotten Tomatoes, Black Adam has 271 reviews with a cumulative score of 39% from critics. The viewer rating is much better at 89%.
Meanwhile Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is far from well received. In the early days of its broadcast, this film received an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes with the Certified Fresh label. There have been 167 critical reviews for this movie while the audience score was not out yet when this news was released.
Many viewers praised how Black Panther: Wakanda Forever managed to maintain the quality and story of the first film. There are also viewers who think that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is an important dish that can be enjoyed and can be continued in the MCU.
In addition, this film is also a farewell message for Chadwick Boseman, the actor T’Challa, who passed away due to illness. Marvel Studios has decided not to replace the role of T’Challa with another actor for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever officially aired in all cinema networks in Indonesia. This film is shown in various formats from regular to IMAX. For a better viewing experience, it is recommended to watch it on an IMAX screen because you can hear more sparkling sound effects and epic visuals.
In a recent interview with detik.com, Lupita Nyong’o released a leak about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
