Thai Food Products Factory Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of “Wai Wai” instant noodles, is continuing its efforts to promote youth in sports by organizing the “WAIWAI FOOTBALL ACADEMY 2023” project. The project aims to provide free football lessons and scholarships to study at a famous sports school.
The WAIWAI FOOTBALL ACADEMY 2023 project is a mobile football course that will be conducted in the northeastern region of Thailand. The project will be held in 12 provinces, including Nakhon Ratchasima, Sisaket, Surin, Ubon Ratchathani, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Roi Et, Yasothon, Loei, Udon Thani, Bueng Kan, and Nakhon Phanom. The company has already achieved success in the upper northern region and is now expanding its reach to the northeastern region.
The project aims to sculpt young players and has set a target of more than 1,000 youth participating in the activity. The company plans to send a good coach to study intensely with the participants and provide scholarships to a famous sports school.

Following the success of the project in 2022, with more than 800 youths participating from 6 provinces, the company has decided to continue the project. This year, the WAIWAI FOOTBALL ACADEMY 2023 project will provide opportunities for children aged 7-12 with the ability and interest in football to join and practice various skills. The participants will receive coaching from AFC Licensed coach staff and former Thai national football team members.
The project will select 3 children from each province to enter the FINALSTAGE round. From there, 16 out of 36 participants will be selected to enter a training camp at Tha Kham United School in Chonburi Province. The selected participants will live together as football players for 5 days and 4 nights. Only 3 youngsters will receive a scholarship to study at Thakham United School.
In addition to enhancing their sports skills, selected youths will also receive scholarships for their education from 1st to 12th grade at Tha Kham Pittayakom School in Chonburi Province.
The goal of the campaign is to support youth who will be an important force for the nation in the future. The company aims to encourage individuals to pursue their dreams and act quickly to seize opportunities. The WAIWAI FOOTBALL ACADEMY project is expected to identify promising players who can breakthrough in professional football and become future professional footballers.
Coaching for the WAIWAI FOOTBALL ACADEMY 2023 program will take place every Saturday and Sunday. The program will start at the 80th Birthday Anniversary Stadium in Nakhon Ratchasima Province and will cover all 12 provinces in the northeastern region. The program will run from July 2023 until the end of the year.
