There was a fight in an apartment in Wągrowiec, Greater Poland. One of the men was supposed to stab the other with a knife, and then fled the scene. After a raid that lasted several hours, he was arrested. According to the police, the 43-year-old had a criminal record.

The incident in which the 37-year-old was stabbed happened around 3 p.m. in an apartment at Berdychowska Street in Wągrowiec. The police were informed by a witness by phone. Suspected of the attack, the 43-year-old man fled before the arrival of the police.

Spokesman of the Greater Poland Police Andrzej Borowiak informed on social media that the police had organized a manhunt for the fugitive. About 100 policemen from the police from Wągrowiec with the support of a pursuit group took part in the search for the 43-year-old. The man was arrested before 8 p.m. in the center of Wągrowiec, at the intersection of Jeżyka and Średna Streets. – During the arrest he did not resist – said the press officer of the Wagrowiec police, the young asp. Dominik Zieliński.

In the past, the detainee had a record of eight police records about the theft of money from church money boxes.
