“Wagner Mercenaries Offer to Reveal Russian Troops’ Locations in Exchange for Withdrawal of Ukrainian Troops”

The leader of the “Wagner” militant group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has offered the Ukrainian military to reveal the places where Russian soldiers are staying, if the Ukrainians withdraw their forces from Bakhmut, where the “Wagner” mercenaries are suffering heavy losses, reports “Washington Post”.

Prigozhin said that if Ukrainian commanders withdraw their troops from the Bakhmut area, he will provide Kiev with information about the positions of Russian troops that Ukraine could use to attack them.

Prigozhin took the suggestion to his contacts in the Ukrainian Military Intelligence Service, with whom he had maintained secret contacts during the war. This is evidenced by the not-yet-publicized leaked documents of the US secret messages.

The publication recalls Prigozhin’s conflict with the Russian military leadership and alliance with Russian President Vladimir Putin, “who would consider Prigozhin’s proposal to exchange the lives of Wagner fighters for Russian soldiers as treason”.

According to the publication, Prigozhin, through his secret contacts, has repeatedly made offers to Ukraine regarding Bakhmut, but he has always been refused.
