Wagner Love resigned from Corinthians due to the proposal of the Russian club

Corinthians forward Vagner Love, who previously played for CSKA, terminated the contract with the Brazilians after receiving an offer from a Russian club, Globoesporte reports.

Wagner himself, after the termination of the agreement, said that “he was going to change the situation.” The Corinthians press service reported that the footballer accepted the offer to move to another club.

The contract with the 35-year-old striker was terminated by agreement of the parties. The Wagner Love agreement with Corinthians expired in December 2020.

According to the Brazilian club, Wagner Love played a total of 121 matches for Corinthians, in which he scored 29 goals. The forward is the champion of Brazil (2015).

Love spent three career segments at CSKA: 2004–2009, 2010–2012, 2013. Mikhail Grushevsky, a well-known fan of Moscow CSKA, said that in 2019 the Brazilian striker could again become an “army man”.
