A major uproar was raised by the Egyptian artist, Wafaa Makki, 23 years after the case of torturing the two maids, in which she received a 3-year prison sentence, and then moved away from the artistic community completely.
But she recently reappeared, with talk of her acquittal of this charge, and her use of the retired Egyptian artist Mayar al-Beblawi, as the latter appeared in a television interview, and she collapsed crying while talking about her colleague, Wafaa Makki.
Mayar al-Beblawi recounted what happened behind the scenes of filming the series “The Wall of the Eyes”, and how Wafaa Makki dealt with her maid in a very humane manner.
Mayar El-Beblawi
Mayar al-Beblawy was not satisfied with that, but rather started crying and confirming that she wanted to go to the prosecution in order to testify, in light of her knowledge that there was a person who wanted to remove Wafaa Makki from the picture, and therefore he was spending money for this purpose.
Those words that prompted Wafaa Makki to come out, in more than one television interview, crying and talking about a whole life that she lost, and she no longer works because of what happened in this incident.
She expressed her grief at her colleague, Mayar al-Beblawy, because of her silence and fear of the threat she received, but in the end she can only say that God showed her innocence in the end.
The intense appearance of Wafaa Makki was met by a new position by Mayar al-Beblawi, who wrote on her Facebook account to attack her colleague and describe her as a liar, as she indicated that what she said was just a feeling, but there is an eyewitness testimony that ended the matter.
She confirmed that her sense of remorse faded after this testimony, and she attacked her colleague and demanded that she stop representing innocence, and is it possible that the innocence appears because of televised statements?
Mayar El-Beblawi revealed her refusal to trade in the crisis, and she did not want to appear through any media, unlike what Wafaa Makki is doing and appearing on a large number of channels.
Mayar al-Beblawy directed her speech to Wafaa Makki, saying, “Everywhere you lie, and you know that you are not wronged.. Praise be to God, I am sure that you are guilty and the verdict is the truth.”
