Test matches on Saturday: Successful dress rehearsal for Wacker and Bayreuth, Heimstetten is defeated by SSV Ulm
The final spurt of the test game marathon is underway, because numerous regional and Bavarian league teams will be back to everyday league life next weekend – because the first catch-up games are on the program. Some managed the dress rehearsal impressively, while others – especially defensively – still had to admit some uncertainties. We’ll give you a brief overview of the games:
–
Already at 1 p.m. the SpVgg Unterhaching received the SV Wacker Burghausen. For both teams it was the dress rehearsal for the coming weekend, when the hosts will return to everyday regional league life for SpVgg Bayreuth and for SV Wacker against Viktoria Aschaffenburg. The guests started the game energetically and also took the lead in the first half through Andreas Scheidl (16th) and Felix Bachschmid (38th). Haching came back after the change of sides through Christoph Ehlich (62nd) to make it 2-1, before Christoph Maier made it 3-1 with around ten minutes to go (79th).
–
The fact that 1. FC Nürnberg II’s offensive is in full swing is shown not only by the latest test match results, but also by the impressive 10-0 spectacle at Bayern league club Seligenporten. Paul-Philipp Besong was able to put himself on the top scorer list a whopping five times and accordingly made a significant contribution to this victory. Yannik Schlößer (2), Tom Kunert, Tim Latteier and Tim Sausen provided the remaining five goals.
–
Even though 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 didn’t return to the league until a week later, coach Tobias Strobl’s side were in top form again against Würzburger FV. The 05ers made things clear in the first quarter of an hour with Malik McLemore (8′), Marco Zietsch (15′) and Emir Bas (17′) against the North Bavarian league and then didn’t let anything burn. In the second half, Tim Kraus (66th) scored another goal to make it 4-0 in the end.
–
In the duel between the league competitors, SpVgg Bayreuth, the regional league leader, prevailed 2-0 against SpVgg Greuther Fürth II. Alexander Nollenberger (17th) and Captain Benedikt Kirsch (75th) scored the two golden goals of the afternoon, which ensured an all-round successful dress rehearsal for the Rost-Elf.

SV Heimstetten once again received a real top-class player in the hot phase of the friendly with SSV Ulm. Christoph Schmitt’s team also had to bow 3-1 to the Southwest regional league team and DFB Cup participant this season. Jannik Rochelt (17th) and Adrian Beck (21st) presented for the guests before Severin Müller reduced the lead to 1:2 (25th). Ex-Bayer Fabian Benko (87th) finally put the lid on it shortly before the end and bagged the 3-1 preparatory victory for SSV Ulm in the end.
