Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin assured that the project for the construction of a new Kamchatka regional hospital will be taken under special control.
During a visit to the operating regional hospital, he talked with the workers of the medical institution. The prime minister called sloppiness that the new hospital, the design of which was discussed back in 2011, has not yet been built. He noted that some contractors were careless, construction funding in 2019 was reduced, “this is already some kind of obsession.”
“I am scared for the inaction and carelessness that took place over the years regarding the construction of the hospital,” reports TASS words of Mishustin.
He said that according to preliminary estimates, the cost of building a new hospital will be about 13.9 billion rubles.
“Upon arrival, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin and I, together with the Ministry of Construction, will completely put this construction site under control,” the head of the Cabinet said.
He instructed the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health “to figure out the estimate to the end.”
“There will be a hospital, the governor and I must make this promise. We will see by our means how much needs to be added, we understand the estimate, we know about the regional budget deficit. We will monitor the construction process on a quarterly basis. But I have a question for everyone who took part in the design, because for almost 10 years the project did not budge, and the money in the federal budget was allocated. I consider it sloppiness, ”Mishustin said.
The Prime Minister also said that the level of gasification in Kamchatka is closest to the national average, but still quite low, the generating capacities in the Far East are badly worn out. transfers RIA Novosti.
Also, according to him, by the end of the year it is necessary to update and approve new regional gasification programs for the Far East, the situation in the field of gasification in the Far Eastern Federal District from region to region is very different. The demand for electricity in the Far East is growing, so it is necessary to update generation and networks, develop gas processing, the Prime Minister said.
Mishustin also instructed the Ministry of Energy to submit a bill on energy tariffs in the Far Eastern Federal District to the government for consideration by September 1.
The Prime Minister also said that there should not be any sharp jumps in electricity tariffs in the Far East.
Mishustin added that an effective energy supply system is necessary for normal living conditions for people in the Far East, electricity prices should be affordable for them, and stable energy supply is necessary in order to launch new promising projects, including within the framework of advanced development territories.
Thursday Mishustin arrived to the Far East, he began a working trip from the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. This is Mishustin’s first visit to Chukotka as head of the cabinet.
