In an interview with German newspaper Bild Sunday, he said: “Instead of punitive taxes, we need to create mutual trust for investment. If you invest, create jobs and work with local companies, you will get transfer benefits. He should accept it.”
Blume said there was a risk that European carmakers would be hurt by China’s retaliatory tariffs.
