VVD Brabant says confidence in cooperation FvD on | Inland

“In the past year, a large number of FvD incidents have taken place that are heavy on the stomach of the VVD,” says the Brabant VVD. “The recent departure of another FvD member of Parliament is now the direct reason for the VVD to give up its confidence. In Brabant, VVD and CDA have so far simply worked together with FvD. That has been criticized for some time. This is out of the question on the national stage.

Brabant had a 5-party coalition of VVD, CDA, D66, GL and PvdA for a long time. That broke up with arguments over deep disagreements about the nitrogen crisis and farmers’ protests.

In the much more right-wing coalition that was subsequently forged, it is now bumblebee again. The VVD is tired of the constant fuss at Forum. The racist texts in the WhatsApp groups of FvD and Baudets statements during a dinner with FvD celebrities also caused a stir in the Brabant provincial government.

The fact that Member of Parliament Wybren van Haga broke with Baudet and Forum on Ascension Day also had consequences in Brabant. Van Haga brought two other FvD’ers, including Hans Smolders. Smolders also had a seat in Brabant. FvD could no longer fill that empty seat.
