“When it comes to vaccination prioritization, it appears that many different groups demand attention and sometimes compete for priority,” the letter reads. “One group is hardly visible in this respect, and it is also difficult to make itself visible: the group of 18 to 60 year olds with fragile health.”
According to the letter, many of these people live in isolation and the children often stay home from school. “In doing so, they are making a great effort for their health, the health of loved ones and for healthcare. They long to be able to get out of the house and take children to school.”
It will be next from mid-May
18 to 60 year olds are at risk according to the vaccination program it will be next from mid-May, at the same time as the 50 to 60-year-olds. Much too late, the group thinks.

“This means that the at-risk and healthy groups 18-60 will be vaccinated almost simultaneously. It may therefore take until September for all people in the risk groups up to the age of 60 to have their full vaccination.”
The ForgetOnsNietHugo initiative also sent a letter to De Jonge at the end of March, but there was no response.
