Cyber criminals are apparently currently scanning for Microsoft Exchange servers that are vulnerable to a vulnerability. Admins are encouraged to apply the updates that are already available as soon as possible.
Like the English security expert Kevin Beaumont with reference to one Message the Zero Day Initiative warns via Twitter, cyber criminals are currently trying to find Microsoft Exchange Server that can be attacked by the vulnerability with the identifier CVE-2020-0688. The leak allows them to take control of the affected servers.
According to Microsoft, attacks are likely to be carried out, but there are already attacks updates ready, the server administrators should deploy as soon as possible to avoid the risk of a successful attack.
