The conflict in Ukraine is a world warin which the West fights against Russia with the help of Ukrainian soldiers.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said this in an interview with Pink on Wednesday.
“We need to understand that against the background of the world war, all talk that the war is regional or local must be dropped. The whole Western world is fighting against Russia through the Ukrainians,” he said.
According to the Serbian leader, the situation in Ukraine is also indicative of the Balkans. However, he promised that Serbia will spare no efforts to preserve peace in the region.

We remind you that on several occasions the Serbian authorities have announced that they will not impose sanctions on Russia in order to preserve their economic interests.
Vucic himself complained of heavy pressure to impose sanctions on Moscow.
In April, the United Nations General Assembly voted to remove Russia from the organization’s top human rights body amid allegations that its soldiers killed civilians as they withdrew from a region around the Ukrainian capital.
Serbia then voted yes.
They are blackmailing Serbia, not me personally, Vucic said then.
Serbia is a militarily neutral country, but it is not politically neutral. Vucic said on the air of RTS that “while we are on the road to the European Union (EU), we cannot be a politically neutral country”.
