Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Serbia will support its citizens living in northern Kosovo and Metohija in case of armed conflict. In an interview with TV Prva, Vučić spoke of “hell on earth” if an armed conflict breaks out.
The president expects the Kosovo authorities not to reverse their decision on fines for Serbian license plates and that there will be a sharp escalation in Kosovo and Metohija after November 21 due to the controversial Pristina measures. If Pristina starts taking contradictory measures by force, the escalation of the situation in the northern part of Kosovo and Metohija is inevitable, he is sure.
The last chance to avoid conflict is a meeting in Brussels between Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti
