I lost count of them a long time ago and stopped counting them, says Skyba
The 23-year-old soldier Andrey, with the call sign “Skayba”, said that every day he makes about 50 sorties and drops boxes of grenades on the positions of the invaders.

Even before the full-scale war, the 23-year-old “Skaiba” became a private soldier, and in 2019 he learned to fly drones. It now launches DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters into the sky to conduct reconnaissance, adjust fire, and independently strike invaders by dropping grenades from the air. He shared that such attacks take about a box of grenades per day, but sometimes the operator loses several UAVs. According to the soldier’s calculations, in the summer he made up to 50 flights a day, in the winter – less, because it gets dark earlier.
Andrey assures that “wedding” drones are a very accurate and effective weapon on the front line. Evidence of this is the videos of the attacks captured by the cameras of these same DJI Mavic 3. The grenades launched fall into the Russian trenches and explode near the soldiers, destroying them or causing serious injuries.
“I have caused many deaths. I counted them for a while, but then I lost count and stopped. But it is certainly much more than 500, just by throwing grenades,” the operator shared.
He shared that in addition to bombing, the DJI Mavic 3 solves many other tasks on the battlefield, helping to protect Ukraine from invaders. Once, with the help of such a quadcopter, the operators helped to correct the fire of an infantry group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian soldiers approached the position at a distance of 15-20 meters, and Skyba told the Ukrainian machine gunners where to shoot.
In January, a video appeared showing how drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine blew up five Russians on the front line with grenades. The operators spotted a group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in a trench and precisely bombarded them with grenades from the air.
In addition to bombers, the Ukrainian military also attacks the Russians with small kamikaze drones. A few days ago, the 35th Marine Brigade demonstrated how they assemble $500 aircraft capable of destroying even a million dollar tank.
