That writes VRT NWS. Verbruggen was one of the founders of the young Flemish public broadcaster and was best known for the live broadcasts from Expo 58 and the TV quiz “100,000 or nothing”. Verbruggen already ended up at the NIR, the distant predecessor of the VRT, in 1948. After renditions in radio plays and a number of years as a radio presenter, Verbruggen was first seen on the television screen with the popular “100,000 or nothing”. His real breakthrough, however, came with reporting from Expo 58. Later he also reported on the weddings of Albert and Paola and Boudewijn and Fabiola. After his retirement, Verbruggen was one of the founders of VT4. — Related posts:Alberto Castagna's Daughter Carolina Castagna: Her Life, Career, and Beautiful WeddingGerry Marsden, 78, singer Gerry and the Pacemakers, passed awayFree Theater Performance for Families and Friends at El Parque Theater in National Park on March 8th...King Charles III and Queen Camilla Attend First Easter Service of New Monarch's Reign with Senior Ro...
