Deputy Regional Governor Vladimir Krumov led an action today on the territory of Vromos Bay. It was also attended by representatives of the RU Sozopol, the Traffic Police, the Fire Department, the State Forestry Enterprise Sliven, RIOSV, the Deputy Mayor of Sozopol Andrey Nikolov, surveyors and experts.

After the visit made yesterday by regional governor Plamen Yanev to “Topolite” beach, today there were no more vehicles on the sand. However, the situation is not like that in the forest area in the direction of Chernomorets.

Surveyors measured the site and found that many of the illegally parked caravans there were on protected dunes. This can be seen from the cadastral map that Krumov showed.

They stated that they will not remove their caravans, even after it was explained to them that the fine for placing them on protected territories is BGN 5,000. Nor did the men try to hide the barbecue they had lit behind the caravans, in close proximity to dry bushes.

Today’s action was only to warn the owners of the vehicles and ask them to move them themselves. If this is not done within 14 days, there will be fines.
