Vrchlabí, who returned to the second highest competition after nine years, did not enter the season until Saturday after quarantine due to a coronavirus infection in the team and lost on the ice of Slavia 3: 4 after separate raids. At the home premiere, it celebrated its first win.
3 – 0. It was 3 – 0 at the break. In the opening act, Martin Heřman scored the lead with two goals and Ondřej Matýs added another. Poruba got in touch in the second period thanks to the hits of Finn Markus Korkiakoski and Petr Kank, but Vrchlabí defended the close lead.
Šumperk did not reach the victory even in the sixth match of the year and has only one point on his account. Although the Dragons led over Jihlava from the 15th minute thanks to the goal of Daniel Spratek, Tomáš Černý equalized in the introductory part. Matěj Zadražil turned in the middle of the match and Filip Eliáš increased in the 49th minute. Šumperk only corrected the result in the power play thanks to Petr Gewies.
Sokolov is in third place one point behind Jihlava, winning 5: 1 in the prelude to the 26th round at home over Benátky nad Jizerou. Martin Kadlec scored four points for a hat-trick and one assist, increasing to 5: 0 in the 34th minute. Michal Gut scored twice.
The fourth Vsetín defeated Havířov 4: 2 on his own ice. Before the maximum allowed visit, the Wallachians lost 0: 1 after the first period with the current measures of 1000 spectators. In the second period, however, Patrik Machač and Jan Kloz reversed the situation. After 71 seconds of the final third, Roman Szturc equalized, but in the 49th minute Machač returned the lead in the numerical advantage to Machač and Adam Hořanský completed the result. The Wallachians also won the fourth home duel of the season.
Frýdek-Místek scored his second win in his third duel of the year and won 3: 2 in Kadan. He followed up on Saturday’s home victory over Ústí nad Labem 6: 0. Jonáš Peterek decided a three-point gain in Kadan in the 51st minute. The hitters didn’t even score in the fourth match of the season.
Saturday’s debacle in Frýdek-Místek (0: 6) was caused by Ústí nad Labem, which won 4: 1 over Prostějov at home. The forward Daniel Vrdlovec, a fresh reinforcement of the Slavs from Prague’s Slavia, also took part in this with two assists.
