Developments in the gruesome case in Vravrona, where earlier a dead infant was found in a dump.
The 24-year-old father of the dead infant confessed that he threw his child in the garbage, Alpha reported.
In fact, the 24-year-old maintains that the infant was stillborn. As for the hit to the head, she reportedly claimed it was caused when she threw the infant into the trash can.

It all started on Thursday when a couple from Nepal went to Alexandra Hospital as the woman was bleeding from her genitals. According to the police, doctors during the examination found that the woman was pregnant but it was not possible to ascertain whether she gave birth normally or miscarried. Then they also informed EL.AS.
In an investigation carried out at a hotel in Vravrona where the couple is staying, the police found traces of blood everywhere in the room, without locating the infant.
The examination of the material from the security cameras showed that the husband threw the newborn in the garbage bin, but it was not found there when the police searched, as the garbage had been collected by the Municipality of Markopoulos in the meantime.
A search of the dump followed, during which the newborn was found dead.
