Update April 16, 2021, 6:34 p.m .:
Capcom has now confirmed in a press release that Resident Evil 4 (from 17,23 at buy) in its implementation for Oculus Quest 2 should appear in 2021. Incidentally, it is the first exclusive game for Facebook’s second mobile headset – which is therefore no longer compatible with Quest 1 (similar incompatibilities with Quest 1 only existed in individual Rec Room modes).
“To celebrate the series ’25th anniversary, which began March 2021, Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil ™ 4, one of the series’ most popular games, is getting a whole new perspective and is coming to Oculus Quest 2 later this year – the next generation of all-in-one VR. More details on this will be announced at the Oculus Gaming Showcase on April 22nd at 00:00 on Twitch, Facebook and YouTube. “
Opposite Uploadvr.com Facebook has also confirmed that Resident Evil 4 VR will be the “first completely exclusive” title for Quest 2. This also means that no later implementations for PC headsets or PlayStation VR should follow.

What was previously leaked in a leak is now official: In cooperation with Facebook / Oculus, a VR version of the oldies Resident Evil 4 is being created for Oculus Quest 2. The Armature Studio will be responsible for implementation, along with Capcom and Oculus Studios work together.
You will experience what is happening in VR from the first-person perspective and, thanks to touch controllers, you will be able to interact directly with the environment. Further information about Resident Evil 4 VR will be announced on April 21 as part of the Oculus Gaming Showcase (see here).
