Christian Deutsch knows the worries and needs of opposition parties from a former position
Vienna (OTS) – The provincial party chairman of the Vienna People’s Party, City Councilor Karl Mahrer, is positively surprised by the new job of the former federal manager of the SPÖ, Christian Deutsch. According to a recent APA report, he should now be working in the cabinet of Mayor Ludwig and be responsible for strategy and projects.
“Christian Deutsch was in the opposition role in his work as Federal Secretary of the SPÖ and therefore knows the tasks, concerns and needs of an opposition party. He should also incorporate this into his new position as an employee of the mayor,” said the regional director of the Vienna People’s Party, Peter Sverak, in a first statement.
The Vienna People’s Party is therefore now hoping for constructive cooperation in the future. “I’ve known Christian Deutsch personally for a long time and therefore have the hope and the expectation that constructive work together with the opposition is now possible – in any case, we are ready for this and wish him all the best for his new job!” Mahrer concluded .
