The party led by Santiago Abascal has experienced great growth since its formation. On horseback to the rise of new parties such as Ciudadanos or Podemos, which broke the traditional democratic bipartisanship of our country, Vox’s discourse spread among a sector of society until it had become one of the main political forces in Spain.

The theories around possible pacts with the Popular Party to try to form a government are marking the Vox campaign, after some positive results in the regional and local elections of 28M that have opened the doors of many town halls to the party through alliances with the popular.
With a few days to go to the polls, we know the main proposals of Vox’s electoral program. Abascal’s party focuses on equality among Spaniards, the unity of Spain, social protection for Spaniards… issues that have led the party to secure voters in certain sectors of the population.
Main proposals of the electoral program of VOX
Equality between Spaniards
Vox proposes to return to the State the powers of health, education, security and justice, they promise to end the “fictitious borders” generated between communities and with the advantages of “supposed historical rights”. They also promise to guarantee the use of Spanish throughout the territory.
Shielded by “equality among Spaniards”, Vox also aims to “eliminate all gender legislation that allows labor inequality among Spaniards.” In addition, they also promise to repeal the Comprehensive Law on Gender Violence, through a referendum.
Employment
Vox proposes in the field of employment an increase in all salaries, the reduction of contributions for those companies that hire Spanish workers indefinitely and promises support for the self-employed, exonerating the quota for those who do not reach the Minimum Interprofessional Wage.
Education
Vox proposes that there be no Spaniard without free and quality education that guarantees equality among young people. They propose to approve a new Education Law and return to the State the powers in this area. They also promise to ensure the right to education in Spanish.
living place
Zero tolerance against illegal occupation, liberalization of all land that should not be specially protected and the elimination of VAT for the purchase of the habitual family home are the main proposals of Vox.
Vox’s proposals in terms of health are to recover the powers granted to communities, “invest more in health, spending better”, increase investment in primary care and that ignorance of regional languages is not an impediment to access to places public.
