Exploring the Concept of Polyamory and Freedom in Relationships
In a small village at the end of the road, there is a family living about two kilometers away. That is all we know about them. Apart from music, Voxel has also started to professionally delve into perfumery. One day, a friend of my wife, who practices aromatherapy and massage, brought along her collection of fragrant oils, which sparked my interest in the art of perfumery. I remember she had about two hundred bottles with her.
I took a step aside and started to mix scents like jasmine, cedar, and more. I fell in love with it! Luckily, my wife noticed my passion and paid for my first workshop. Slowly but surely, I delved deeper into the world of perfumery, and now it has become my second job.
I create not only perfumes but also scents for candles and diffusers on demand. I enjoy creating scents, but what I love even more is experimenting with different smells, even if it means working with scents like excrement or civet musk.
Being a perfumer is about blending twenty different ingredients to create the illusion of a particular scent, as Voxel, who is raising two sons and a daughter with his wife, points out. Before the birth of their daughter, they openly embraced polyamory. “We decided to give each other and ourselves absolute freedom, love, understanding. We decided that we will NOT OWN each other and realized that what society considers love is often just possession, jealousy, dependence, clinging to the other,” Lebeda wrote at the time.
The sudden decision to explore polyamory was prompted by Lebeda’s relationship with Jan Kymlika, whom she introduced on social media. However, their relationship ended a few months later.
Polyamory challenges traditional notions of monogamy and ownership in relationships. It emphasizes freedom, trust, and open communication among partners. It allows individuals to explore connections with multiple people while maintaining respect and honesty. By embracing polyamory, individuals can experience deeper emotional connections and personal growth. It is a concept that encourages self-discovery and understanding of one’s desires and boundaries in relationships.
In a world where societal norms often dictate the structure of relationships, polyamory offers a different perspective on love and connection. It challenges individuals to question traditional beliefs and explore new ways of forming intimate connections. By embracing polyamory, individuals can create relationships based on mutual respect, trust, and freedom, ultimately leading to more fulfilling and authentic connections with others.
The Unconventional Life of Voxel: A Story of Family, Perfumery, and Polyamory
Living with his five-member family in a remote area near Praděd in the Hrubý Jeseník mountains, Voxel’s life is far from ordinary. There is no signal, no store, no pub, no church, no hustle and bustle. Just one elderly lady and another family live nearby, about two kilometers away. And that’s about it.
Aside from music, Voxel has also delved into the world of perfumery professionally. It all started when a friend of his wife, who practices aromatherapy and massages, introduced him to the world of fragrances. “She had about two hundred bottles with her,” he recalls.
“I took a step aside and started mixing scents, like jasmine, cedar, and more. And I fell in love with it! My wife noticed my interest and paid for my first workshop. So, I gradually delved deeper into it, and now it’s my second job,” he explains.
On demand, he not only creates perfumes but also scents for candles and diffusers. “I enjoy scents, but what I really love is creating odors, even if it means working with smells like excrement or civet musk,” he adds with a hint of humor.
“The work of a perfumer involves blending about twenty different substances to create the illusion of a particular scent,” Voxel points out. He and his wife are raising two sons and a daughter.
