Vox has vetoed this Thursday in the Health Commission of the Congress of Deputies an institutional statement in favor of toilets, since it considered that the proposed text was “a laudatory eulogy of the Government” that hid the criticisms of the opposition. Vox says it has not signed that statement because they have not been previously informed or consulted. And that it was an anonymous text that with the pretext of praising the toilets became in a laudatory eulogy of the government.
In the text there is no express reference to the management of the executive, except that the statement that the health system can be understood has shown its strength and has resisted. The declaration is a review of the titanic task that the toilets are facing. It is asked to recognize and accompany this work and also underlines the need to continue investing in public health so that it has resources and continues to be a source of pride.
This institutional statement has been driven by the nurses themselves. As we have learned, the SATSE union yesterday sent a letter to parliamentary groups to reach consensus on an institutional declaration to publicly support the effort and commitment of the health workers in the fight against COVID-19.
