The capital of Jaén, like several municipalities in the province, have recalled this Monday at 12 noon with a minute of silence for the latest victims of sexist violence. A scourge that has intensified since the end of the State of Alarm on May 9 and that in our province lived in a dramatic way this weekend with the alleged murder of a 36-year-old girl in Marmolejo, whose alleged murderer has passed today at judicial disposal.
All the political forces with municipal representation were present at the protest in the capital, but The two councilors of Vox, Manuel Ureña and Salud Anguita, have not attended (he is on leave). It should be remembered that the formation led by Santiago Abascal denies the existence of sexist violence. All this despite the fact that in recent days there have been cases such as the father of Tenerife who has murdered his daughters, the young man from Seville who has confessed that he dismembered his 17-year-old partner and the fatal outrage of Marmolejo.
