Leipzig Central Station took the lead early on and stayed at the top of the voting right through to the end. A total of 11,982 was voted for it as the most beautiful train station in Germany. “We are very pleased that the station visitors and travelers feel so comfortable at Leipzig Central Station. For us, first place is both an appreciation and an incentive. Friendliness, helpfulness, cleanliness and safety are our top priorities, ”said station manager Christian Schulz TRAVELBOOK.
Leipzig Central Station is right in the city center and was opened in 1915. Today, an average of 135,000 station visitors and travelers frequent it every day. The integrated shopping center is particularly popular.
