The Saanen voters will vote at the ballot box on November 29th on seven business matters. You decide on four construction projects (total costs of CHF 36.16 million), on the acquisition of tournament rights from Swiss Tennis, on an increase in the «Les Arts / Ried» planning loan and on the 2021 budget.
The first template concerns the Lehnen Viaduct, which is to be completely dismantled and replaced by a retaining wall. Since the almost 100 meter long section of the road lies on a steep slope, the foot of the wall is founded with micropiles. In the case of the roadway slab on the mountain side, only the superstructure will be replaced, while the roadway on the valley side will be completely renewed. Because the Palacestrasse is very busy, traffic management must be guaranteed at least one lane during the construction period (April to October 2021). The paving will be installed in 2022. The total costs are CHF 1.1 million.
