The votes are open, the French must vote for their favorite monument in 2023. The eponymous program, hosted by Stéphane Bern, is making a comeback on the occasion of the 40th European Heritage Days. After Nancy, will the city of Metz manage to climb onto the podium, or even win the gold medal? The station of the Moselle capital is indeed one of the three monuments selected to represent the Grand Est region, alongside the fortified castle of Sedan (Ardennes) and the sanctuary of Mont-Sainte-Odile (Bas-Rhin).
The 117-year-old imperial building is no stranger to this type of competition since it had been crowned “most beautiful station in France” three times, in 2017, 2018 and 2020, which had earned it no selected in the last edition.
Viewers have until midnight May 26 to vote online.
In 2021, Place Stanislas in Nancy won first place and in 2022, the Le Redoutable submarine and the Cherbourg ferry terminal.
