The user representatives are volunteers, responsible for making the link between the users, the health professionals and the management of the establishment. Members of approved associations, they are appointed by the Regional Health Agency (ARS), in order to represent all the people brought to come to the hospital center (CH).

On its Facebook page, the hospital offers the testimony of Élodie Derdaele: “As a representative of users, I strive to express the legitimate questions and requests of all patients and families. This participation is intended to be constructive, frank and respectful of the medical and administrative staff of the CH de Remiremont and of the other user representatives. […] Users have rights, expectations and are also actors in their health. The patient is not just a suffering being; he may usefully share his experience with the hospital community and invite it, if necessary, to review its practices or, on the contrary, to consolidate a conclusive experiment”.
