There is resistance to the corona protective measures in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district, which have been tightened since Monday. The Greifswald Administrative Court is now dealing with the general ruling of the district.
The stricter corona protective measures in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district have been in effect since Monday. A so-called general decree of the district stipulates: Schools and daycare centers are closed from an incidence value of 150, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. you may only leave your apartment or property in an emergency and every resident of the district must be within a 15 kilometer radius stay around his home address and may only leave this area in justified exceptions. As of Wednesday, three proceedings are pending at the Greifswald Administrative Court with which citizens want to override the general decree. The court may decide this week.
Among other things, parents in the district have to look after their children at the beginning of the new week. more

Applicants consider measures in Vorpommern-Greifswald to be disproportionate
The three applicants have raised an objection to the 15-kilometer rule and the night curfew with the district administrator and turned to the court with legal protection proceedings. Those concerned consider the restrictions issued by the general decree of the district to be disproportionate. The applicants said that the measures taken were neither necessary nor suitable to achieve the objectives pursued with the general order, said court spokesman Heinz-Gerd Stratmann.
Court decision only affects applicants
If the court should decide in favor of the applicants, then the restrictive measures of the general order would only be lifted for these three persons. The decision of the court thus only relates to the three applicants. How the circle would deal with such a decision of the court is still unclear.
Critic: Take greater account of local infection processes
Recently, the criticism of the rigid measures in the district, which is clearly almost twice as large as the Saarland, has become louder. Many believe that such cuts should be ordered by the authorities. That would take greater account of the different locations in the individual regions.
The curfew and the 15-kilometer rule occupy the Greifswald administrative court. More corona news in the live ticker. more
