He led many a list of suspects, received compliments for his voice and was allowed to enjoy the special attention of jury member Ruth Beeckmans: Vooruit chairman Conner Rousseau, aka Rabbit, has come a long way in the popular TV show. The masked singeralthough he was the first to leave the final.

Rabbit was the great unknown to the detectives. There was great consternation when it turned out not to be Adil El Arbi or Hakim Chatar. “A top achievement but completely unexpected. If I had done one episode better than Bart Tommelein last season, which was immediately out, I would have been satisfied,” said Conner Rousseau.

How did the politician combine this with his agenda? “The recordings were in the summer when there were fewer appointments, and also on Sundays. In terms of agenda, such a program in the winter would never work for me. I also said that I would never skip an important political meeting for The Masked Singer† As a result, I sometimes had singing lessons on a Friday evening until midnight. His participation provides a nice extra. “The tips I got from the singing coach come in handy during political debates. That way I pay more attention to my breathing.”

No surprises during the denouements. Loredana De Amicis, Pat Krimson’s fiancée and singer with 2Fabiola, came in second. She turned out to be in Ridder’s suit. The winner, Miss Poes, was finally exposed as Camille Dhont, who played Camille in the musical series #LikeMe and released the single Vuurwerk under her own name.
