This planning was announced following an investment by the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) in September 2023.
Vooban specializes in supporting companies in the design and implementation of AI projects. For its part, Stratéjia assists its clients who wish to enhance their data and in their digital transformation with innovative and personalized technological solutions.
This is notably a union of forces in their respective specialties. Kevin Moore, CEO of Vooban, was asked what the differences were between the two companies.
“There are certainly complementarities and similarities. The main reason why we acquired Stratéjia was because of their strengths in BI [business intelligence ou intelligence d’affaires] and in data processing,” he responds in a telephone interview.
“We had a small BI team. We only had two people in the specialty and they had around twenty. We sought out this additional expertise to accelerate our BI practice. And that is found upstream of everything we do in artificial intelligence.”

“We wanted to continue our growth and offer our internal talents the opportunity to work on large-scale projects with a group that shares our values and our vision,” Jean responded in a press release. -Sébastien Darveau, CEO of Stratéjia. “We also aspired to evolve our clients’ projects towards AI. Our choice therefore fell on Vooban, which embodies the strategic partner par excellence to achieve our objectives.”
New subsidiary
This acquisition leads to the creation of a new subsidiary. It is called Endorphine, which is originally a product designed by the Stratéjia developer team.
“It is used by 100,000 users in 115 tourist resorts throughout Quebec,” explains Mr. Moore. “With the transaction, we created a legal entity called Endorphine and we rolled the assets into it, to make it a full-fledged company that will operate independently.”
According to the CEO of Vooban, the system allows you to purchase access to tourist sites or make any other transaction. “You can book your tickets for the day, rent a bike, equipment or accommodation,” he concludes.
