Every assignment is an chance to learn and grow as a photographer. each subject presents unique challenges and requires a different approach.
For events like Ursula von der Leyen’s visit, it’s about capturing the meaning of the moment in a natural, almost candid way. With David Coulthard’s F1 demonstration, the focus was on speed, motion, and capturing the adrenaline of the event, while David Pastrňák’s celebration was all about raw emotion and joy.

Richard Horák:
Being recognized by my peers is always an honour, but the greatest reward for me is knowing that my work has touched people, evoked emotions, or sparked conversations. When someone tells me that one of my photographs has moved them, or that it made them see Prague in a new light, that’s when I know I’m truly fulfilling my purpose as a photographer.

it’s always a challenging task! I go through hundreds of photographs, revisiting each one, trying to feel the emotions again, remembering the context of each shot.I look for images that are not onyl technically strong but also tell a compelling story or convey a particular mood or message.
