A Vomar supermarket was robbed on the Middenweg in East tonight. The two suspects involved were both armed.
According to a police spokesman, one of the suspects had a firearm and the other had a knife. They threatened the supermarket staff with this. The robbers were after a money vault. In the end they ran off empty-handed.
The police have not yet arrested any suspects. The detective is investigating the case. No one was injured in the robbery.
