Swedish carmaker Volvo Cars returned to profit between January and June. The company was helped by a strong market recovery after last year’s slump caused by the covid-19 pandemic. Operating profit was SEK 13.24 billion (CZK 33.2 billion) after a loss of SEK 989 million in the same period last year, according to today’s statement. Volvo Cars is owned by the Chinese Geely Holding, which is considering entering the stock exchange by the end of this year.
