Volvo Trucks has delivered the first heavy duty cement concrete mortar delivery truck to its customer. The environmentally friendly special vehicle will be part of the Cemex company’s fleet.

A mixer with a 9 cubic meter tank, made on the basis of the four-wheeled FMX, equipped with two 330 kW (449 HP) electric motors and a 360 kWh battery pack, which will allow the car to work the whole working day, recharging during the night.
Volvo Trucks offers the most complete electric range in the global truck segment from 16 to 44 tonnes gross weight, covering everything from urban deliveries and waste collection to construction material deliveries in city centers and regional haulage.
The company aims to have half of its total new truck sales in the electric vehicle segment by 2030. Volvo Trucks is committed to achieving zero greenhouse gas emissions in the value chain by 2040 at the latest.
